Recreation

I’m not entirely proud of this one but I tried. The problems I faced were trying to get my camera to work then having to charge it to only end up using my phone as a last resort. Along with figuring out the outfit and lighting. This photo is famous because it showed a different side to a world famous physicist. I believe it could have been better but I know that I tried my best with the lighting and outfit.

Nostalgia Like we used to. For this one I used my brother, like most the pictures I used him. For this one I punched up the color a little bit but made the shadows darker, creating a sense of softness but also draws attention to him. The bubbles are what I think makes this nostalgia.  Illusion Vroom Vroom This is my best attempt at illusion, trying to make the car big using perspective. I didn't do too much editing on this one only raising the saturation and shadows. I also tried to create equal space above and below the car.  Loneliness Lonely as a leaf For this one I turned the color down to make it seem dull. Isolating the leaf in the middle. There isn't much to write about this one.  Happiness The run of joy I used color and bokeh in the background to highlight my brother. The only editing I did was making the photo brighter. I also used the rule of thirds where his eyes meets one of the lines. Decay  Ant Eaten I have no idea why this one is so bad quality...

Fashion

Blue line sweater For this one I used many components such as texture, color, and green screen effect. Red platforms Like the last one I used green screen effect along with shape, and color.  Pretend it’s a fashion brand :) This one is much more simplistic but creates intrigue  along with a light effect in the back. Red dress This one I used color isolation to make my cousins dress the focal point along with the repeating trees that form symmetry. Mary Janes For this last one I used contrast and value to make my shoes stand out against the leave along with making them in one of the thirds.

Freedom but loneliness  Through a new lens. In this picture I used isolation and color to show difference and isolation. But the red represents freedom but still isolated. The photography methods I used are color contract and isolation.  The start of something new. This one still uses red in foreground, along with movement with panning. The red represents freedom again, its movement shows its expression to be free. But it’s shown to be alone highlighting its isolation.  Alone again… The framing in the picture is to show an outside observer, a mundane office space that again represents isolation, the dark red of the wall is the freedom but now dulled to a darker version  where they realize the true isolation of being free. The other photography choices I used are low exposure to make the feeling of freedom no longer as exciting at the other photos.
